Tumbling Villa-Lobos

A special Villa-Lobos Festival is being celebrated right now in Rio de Janeiro.  It celebrates the 120th anniversary of VL’s birth.

Check out this page at the Museu VL website.   It’s still not to late to attend the last few concerts, including one this evening. 

Next week the festival ends with two pretty special concerts:

• The Banda Sinfônica do Corpo de Fuzileiros Navais Capitão (Symphonic Band of the Corps of Marines), on November 24th
• Orquestra de Sopros da UFRJ on November 26th
