This is great - I’ve never been to a live bassoon concerto concert. Is there anything cooler than seeing a bassoonist standing up in front of an orchestra? The Ciranda das Sete Notas is such an appealing piece - it deserves to be much better known, on CD as well as in concert. (You have a chance to see this piece performed live, at the Philharmonie in Berlin, December 3rd - see the post immediately above.)
