A scene from José Limón’s Emperor Jones ballet.  From the Limón Journal, Volume 3, Number 1, Fall 1998, p. 7.  Villa-Lobos wrote the score for Limón’s dance company in 1956.  It was based on the play Emperor Jones by Eugene O’Neill.  There’s lots of interesting things to see at the Limón Dance website.
